PlayStation 4 More Superior than Xbox One

Microsoft has released the latest gaming console, Xbox One, on Tuesday afternoon when Redmond, U.S., or Wednesday morning (22/05/2013) Indonesian time. Of course, Microsoft hopes Xbox One can be as successful, or even exceed, the Xbox 360.

In the console gaming market alone, Microsoft has a major competitor, Sony. Interestingly, the Japanese company has also recently launched a new gaming console, the PlayStation 4.

Performance of both has yet to be caught up to the time of its release later in the market. However, from the comparison specification, PlayStation 4 looks superior.

Quoted from BGR, Thursday (05/23/2013), both are equally Jaguar using AMD processors that have 8 core with 1.6 GHz speed.


The excellence of the magnitude seen PlayStation 4 GPU core (GPU cores). The console has a 1,152 GPU cores, versus 768 owned Xbox One.

Sony's latest console computing power reached 1.84 TFLOPS. Meanwhile, Microsoft's only reached 1.23 TFLOPS.

PlayStation 4 is also superior in terms of system memory. Although both use 8GB of RAM, type of components used Sony still better. Xbox One comes with DDR3 RAM, while the PlayStation 4 with GDDR5.

Of all these advantages, PlayStation 4 looks capable of providing a more powerful gaming power.
