The use of "sticker" for all Facebook users can now be used in all post comments on the Timeline, Group, even in the event, starting on Monday (10/13/2014).
Sticker can be accessed by the user through the available smiley icon in the lower right corner of the comment section. Sticker option will be displayed and can be selected by Facebook users.
Stickers in the Facebook comments was first announced by Bob Baldwin, one of the team who worked on the sticker that is available on Facebook. Baldwin posted a screenshot of the timeline up with a sticker on his own Facebook page.
According to him, the stickers could make Facebook users reply to posts with a more pleasant way. They can show their expression with the stickers.
Baldwin told, the idea of stickers on Facebook originally appeared in the Hackathon event in New York. He and his team working on the idea in one night. Its mobile version developed by Baldwin and colleagues later, including iOS and Android versions.
However, according to Tech Crunch, by adding a sticker in the comments field, making conversation thread becomes longer down. People will often shift the screen down and spend more time reading the comments.
However, the sticker is a new way Facebook users in order to draw more comfortable wearing more and more applications that its competitors. Stickers for Facebook is now available in the web and mobile versions.
