Chinese semiconductor company, MediaTek informed will present a new processor generation. Resources mentioned, the company will use 10-core technology to a new series dilabelinya with Helio name X20.
Reported Phone Arena, Tuesday (21/04/2015), this latest processor, claimed to use the Cortex-A72-based architecture, with synchronization quad core processor 2.0 GHz Cortex A-53 as well as quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex A-53. In his debut later, stated that the company will use the name of MT6797 series.
Helio X20 or also called MT6797, claimed to deliver 40 percent higher performance compared to previous processor, Helio X10. In addition, the processor has also been tested through application bencmark AnTuTu, scored 70 thousand.
MT6797 will work using the Tri-Cluster CPU Architecture. Eight cores A53 will use big.LITTLE architecture to provide a balance of strength and balance battery consumption efficiently.
The chips will be manufactured using transistor design or TSMC 20 nm, but unfortunately the processor does not support LTE-A / Cat. 6. Because of the frequency of the radio support is claimed to carry data speeds up to 300 Mbps.
Previous also informed that MediaTek will officially introduce its newest processors by the end of 2015. Some sources say, smartphone vendors who are already interested in using these products is Xiaomi and Vivo.
