Olympus Tough TG-4, with a Pocket Camera RAW Photo Format

Olympus camera manufacturer officially announced its newest product with name Tough TG-4 series. As the products in the family Tough series, this new series is also claimed to be present with the toughness and able to produce photos of the RAW format.

With its capabilities and features, Olympus claimed to be the first camera manufacturer in the world that can deliver a powerful RAW images in the camera. Because, usually a camera with such features are present only in high-end and specialty camera alone.

As in previous products, TG-3, series Tough TG-4 using a camera of 16 MP lens and CMOS sensor 2.3 inch backside-iluminated. In addition, supported by the kitchen runway of processor TruePic VII, aperture f / 2.0, and the ability to zoom 4X optical zoom.

Reporting from Digitaltrends, Tuesday (04/14/2015), the Olympus Tough TG-4 is present as a tough camera and looks more gahar. This series is claimed to be able to take photos at a water depth of 50 feet, with 220 pounds crushproof and freezing temperatures at 14 degrees Fahreinheit.

Tough TG-4 comes with support for WiFi connectivity and integrated GPS in it. This series also, reportedly has the ability to take or record video with 1080p Full HD quality, as well as images in the RAW file format in large file sizes.

There has been no information from the company regarding the area targeted marketing Olympus, but is rumored that the camera Tough TG-4 will be sold with the tag of approximately USD380 or approximately Rp 5 million.
