Prevent MacBook Air, HP Release Ultrabook Folio

Hewlett-Packard (HP) launched a lightweight laptop or ultrabook Folio to beat Apple's MacBook Air.

Folio which will enter the market on December 7, sold for $ 900. The launch was two months ago after HP plans to leave the PC division.

California-based company that designed the Folio for the business so the shape of thin, lightweight and battery life for nine hours.



Folio weights only 3.3 pounds (1.5 kilograms), state drive along with HD screen measuring 13.3-inches (33.8 centimeters).

"This (ultrabook) is a new category in the market and become a new option for users to get a new experience in the business," said IDC chief research officer Crawford Del Prete.

"We hope ultrabook can trigger a re-sale of the laptop slim and started in 2015, approximately 95 million ultrabook will dikirimm throughout the world each year," Del Prete said industry observers.
