Explore the Grand Canyon Through Street View

Thanks to technology, you can now explore the Grand Canyon, without having to physically visit the famous tourist attractions in the United States.

This is possible because the Google Maps team has presented the Grand Canyon panorama image covering some roads in around the venue.

Only by moving the mouse or a finger, users can explore areas that have previously been photographed by the Google Maps team is. In the picture at an angle of 360 degrees, users can visit the famous areas contained in the Grand Canyon, such as the Bright Angel Trail, the Colorado River, and Meteor Crater.

These pictures can be taken thanks to the presence of a device called a Trekker. Trekker is a backpack equipped with 15 cameras each have a 5-megapixel image sensor. To operate the Trekker, the team uses Google Maps Android based phones.
