Whatsapp messaging app brings together long-awaited settings. This feature allows those who are registered as administrators in the group to revoke the same status from other participants. Launched on the Express, Saturday (21/4), this arrangement first appeared in beta in January.
Before this setting appears, the participant can not remove any admin status from the Whatsapp conversation group. They must remove the intended person from the group first. Then, the person is reinserted to a group where they do not have administrator status.
Now, Whatsapp has finally added the option to remove admin status without removing participants from the group. New features are currently available on iOS, Android and web users.
To revoke an admin status in a chat group, simply tap the group name at the top of the screen until it displays the Group Info screen. Find a username that has an admin description next to their name. If we are an admin, we will see the Dismiss As Admin option.
The option will revoke the admin status of someone. The person still participates in the chat group, but can not add and remove someone from the group.
