Sandisk Releases a 400 GB Memory Card

Along with improving the quality of content, especially cameras that are now capable of recording 4K video and high-resolution photographs, the storage media requirements in the gadget also increases.

In response to these trends, Sandisk introduced the largest capacity microSD memory card. Storage space provided by a product called full Sandisk Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I reaches 400 GB.

The capacity is enough to hold a myriad of multimedia content, such as full-HD video for 40 hours or more than 67,000 photos taken using top-class smartphones, as summarized KompasTekno from Wired on Saturday (9/2/2017).

"We continue to push the boundaries and transform the way users use their mobile devices," said Sven Rathjen, Vice President of Product marketing at Western Digital, the holding company of Sandisk.
