This smartphone's name may sound a bit odd, Eluga. Panasonic is trying to convey messages about their products are so attractive.
Although manufactured in Japan, Eluga stands for the English word that is claimed to describe the quality of the smartphone. Panasonic
is said, came from England Eluga the 'El' to describe the elegant
design (elegant), 'u' for user-oriented and 'ga' for the gateway for
networking service.
"We
plan to use the name as a sub-brand Eluga for all smartphones to be
sold in Europe and probably in many countries," said a spokesman for
Panasonic.
Reported by the Wall Street Journal, Wednesday (02/22/2012), this is the first Panasonic phone sold outside Japan. For the inaugural marketing next April, Panasonic aiming for Europe as a major market share.
In addition to its stylish design, Eluga who are already using Android aka Gingerbread is claimed to be waterproof waterproof. Carrying
