In Android, Google Docs Accessible "Offline"

Google Docs can now be read while internet access disconnected or offline. Android tablet or mobile users can access documents, presentation files, spreadsheets, photos, and files with format PDF, DOC, XLS, and PPT.

To be able to access Google Docs offline, Android users should do the latest update Google Docs application from the Android Market.



By default, users can still open and doing Google Docs settings even though internet connection suddenly cut off.

Instead, users can still open the offline version of Google Docs even though it is connected to the Internet. File will be automatically updated each time a user connects to the internet.

There are different ways to make offline files between tablet and smartphone. For the tablet, the user can open a preview window and select the check box next to the option "make offline" available.

The smartphone users can click directly on file for three seconds, then touch the paper "make available offline".

So, to be able to access documents in Google Docs offline, you must perform the steps above.

However, this latest application Google Docs only help to access the file and can not be used for editing.

The concept is similar to the concept of GMail Offline on Google Chrome browser. Google is going to develop research that Google Docs can be more beneficial to users.
