Dual Socket Server, Standard New Data Center

Fujitsu developed a new standard for data center by releasing a dual socket server, Primergy x86. Interestingly, there is a modular chassis to the PRIMERGY server products, thus creating a server platform that allows customers to freely configure the system as needed and add servers as needed.

Family of dual socket server, among others, PRIMERGY TX 300 S7, S7 RX 200, RX 300 S7, S7 350 RX, BX 920 BX 924 S3 and S3

In terms of performance, it supports the general-purpose computing on Graphics Processing Unit card (GPU) and faster data processing. The new servers provide a memory capacity of 100 percent greater internal capacity hard drive and 33 percent more. Also available is the expansion server for the changes to the configuration server if necessary.

He supports ServerView Virtual I / O Manager. So management becomes easier and provide a network-agnostic virtualization in the datacenter a dynamic environment. The application also supports the addition and recovery of virtual server profiles, as well as the time and effort required to run the virtual server re-image is also reduced from hours to minutes.

The third generation of ServerView Virtual I / O Manager is available for all the latest dual socket Primergy servers. Energy management features that are easier has been combined with a modular power supply up to 94 percent more efficient. This enables companies to reduce energy costs up to 73 percent compared with the previous generation.

Double socket Primergy claimed to improve performance by 70 percent as supported by the Intel Xeon E5. While the use of High Performance Computing (HPC), up 120 percent system performance by using the Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) from Intel.
