explains Intel is committed to deliver the new processor that has the
latest technology, one size smaller, causing the battery to last longer.
"Usually
1-2 months before launch, the processor has begun to be sent to the
vendor. We are committed to launch Ivy Bridge at the end of the quarter
II-2012," said Norhizam after the encounter at the Intel Booth at Mega

Nevertheless, Norhizam reluctant to explain the exact time of the scheduled release of Ivy Bridge. He just explained the possibility of Ivy Bridge will present in June 2012.
The
Intel processors will prioritize delivery to the United States and
European markets as demand for the processor is greater than other

Norhizam also denied that the delay in the scheduled launch of Ivy Bridge was due to the global economy is weakening. Intel party considers that the conditions of people's purchasing power is currently being improved.
In
fact, citing data from IDC that computer sales in Indonesia until the
end of last year to reach 6 million units of computers. About 80 percent of that amount using Intel processors.
"It shows the economy is good. Even computer sales in Indonesia over its neighbors," he added.
In addition, Intel also denied that his party did not want to lose simply because inventories are still too many Sandy Bridge. Thus, this delay also intends to spend the inventory Sandy Bridge processors.
"Although
we will launch the Ivy Bridge, we will produce Sandy Bridge. We have a
large investment to make the means of production of these processors, so
that we may not stop Sandy Bridge," he said.
The presence of Ivy Bridge processors with four core (quad core) will be the future trend in the computer. Although today, the computer is still dominated by the dual core technology.
In addition, the processor will also be used in Ultrabook from multiple vendors. The product was judged fit to Ivy Bridge technology which is claimed is small and can make a longer battery life.
