Browser Can Track Users with Fingerprint

This page is currently getting smarter detect browser users. A computer expert Yinzhi Cao of Pennsylvania developed a method to determine the spectrum of IEEE web site at odds with the fingerprint. It meant that, those who follow the footsteps of a user could tell even from a different browser platforms.

For example, one follows the other people from advertising, credit cards, and more are now able to know the movement even though it opened in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Browser fingerprinting works by identifying a unique character in a computer hardware and software. Maybe it is hard to imagine. However, the computer can read it, even from the type of font used. Accuracy rate reached 91 percent.

"The sides are not fun, this system can be used to continuously track the user desires so useful for advertisers," said Cao told Mashable page. The company's ad can still track even if users use a different browser. Coding for the browser fingerprint even been published through the pages online. Cao explained, however computer scientists still have a strong enough safeguards to protect against cyber criminals.

Quite difficult to track the system is working well. In short, the system tries to read all kinds of features available on many operating systems (OS) and then combine them. Amazingly, it only takes a matter of minutes to create a program to run. While the system would continue to provide security even if users open it from a different browser platforms.
