Tips for Caring for Earphones and Headphones Correctly

1. Clean Regularly
The way to clean the headphone pads is quite easy. Clean using warm water mixed with soap that has been moistened on a damp cloth. Do this once a week. After cleaning with soapy water, make sure to dry it immediately with a soft cloth. When cleaning it, turn off and unplug headphones from the device. Never use alcohol to clean because it can damage headphone material and fade colors.

2. Use a Small Brush
For earphone types with earbuds, use a small brush when cleaning. First, remove the wax layer on the earbud when it will be cleaned. Do not push the brush because the dirt will be pushed in and build up. After brushing, use a soft cloth to clean it immediately.

3. Save Correctly
If headphones or earphones are not used, it should be stored in a bag. This treatment will make it avoid dirt or scratches. Or, store it in the casing. Currently there are many earphone casing products sold in the market.

4. Don't be saved in a specific location
A sauna or car trunk is not the right location to store or use headphones. Especially in headphones equipped with batteries, avoid places with hot or cold temperatures. Do not also store it for a long period of time with damp or wet conditions.

5. Avoid Coiling the Cable
Twisting the headphone cable when it is attached to the device is not recommended. This will make the plug end meet at the sharp end and can make it out of the cable layer. So that the cable is not tangled, buy a clip or cable button that keeps the folds good.
