Whatsapp will present three new features

Whatsapp recently offered the latest update program through the Google Play Beta Program, presenting version 2.18.282, which has not been released for everyone except those who want to try it.

There are three main updates in that version compared to the previous version or that has been circulating at this time. Here are three updates in the Whatsapp app for Android which is still in the form of a beta application, as quoted from WABetaInfo on Sunday (16/9).

Swipe to Reply

The sliding feature to reply to a message (Swipe to Reply) was previously not on Whatsapp for Android. After all this time, Whatsapp finally added this feature to Android users.

This is the same feature that was available on Whatsapp for iOS last year. This feature allows Android users to reply to a particular message by simply sliding or sweeping with the message finger to reply.

In the current version, Android users need to press and hold to make a reply to a particular message. Of course the latest features offered will be faster and more efficient than the old method.

Button display list of group participants

New Whatsapp also adds options for the group participant list. When there are more than 10 participant groups in the list, Whatsapp will display a "more" button that allows you to display the entire list of group participants.

Dark background

Whatsapp will also provide a dark (black) background mode on the messaging screen, which makes messages clearer because it contrasts with the background color. Dark messaging settings can only be obtained when you activate certain themes for your mobile screen. However, it was not explained when the new features on Whatsapp will be shared with everyone, of course with the application update, but some media believe this will be launched soon.
