Chrome on Android Will Save Bandwidth

Google continues to make its Internet browsing application ( browser ) , Chrome the best browser on a mobile platform . The latest update of Chrome for Android and iOS later claimed Google is able to reduce the use of data / bandwidth significantly.

This update by Google is based on the fact that many mobile users who have a limited data package subscription . With the update , users can cut data usage by half , as written in the official Google Chrome blog .

Google will add a feature called " Bandwidth management " in a mobile version of Chrome . When enabled , the feature is claimed to reduce the use of data .

Chrome mobile version using compression methods conducted on Google's servers , before they are displayed on the smartphone .

Users also said to be able to see statistics about the use of their data for 30 days. Google shows the percentage of data used by the data that still exist , as well as the actual data size and after compressed .

Quoted from Digital Trends , Tuesday ( 01/21/2014 ) , the new update will be released for only a few devices in the near future . But in the future , Google will release it to all Android and iOS devices .

Chrome for mobile will also have features like speed dial . Frequently visited web pages will be displayed on the homescreen and can be accessed quickly .
