Introduce AMD Radeon Graphics Cards RX 470 and RX 460

Following the presence of the first graphics card that carries Polaris GPU, Radeon RX 480 at the Computex in early June, AMD has introduced two additional graphics card called the Radeon Radeon RX 470 and RX 460.

Both products are introduced in a ceremony at the E3 exhibition in Los Angeles, USA (13/06/2016) is positioned to occupy the market segment under Radeon RX 480.

Because of this, it can be assumed that either the Radeon RX 470 and RX 460 will be priced less than 199 dollars (the official price of the RX 480), although AMD has not announced official pricing and availability schedule.

AMD claims that the graphics card price "Polaris" is relatively affordable and a great power will "socialize" the technology of Virtual Reality (VR) among computer users.

"Tens of millions (gamers) are currently only able to read about VR experiences without being able to try it yourself. All that will change with the Radeon RX Series, with gaming and VR technology affordable everybody, "said SVP and Chief Architect AMD Radeon group, Raja Koduri, in a written statement received KompasTekno Tuesday.

Radeon RX 470 is claimed to be realizing the "HD gaming" (at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080) are smooth, while the RX 460 is intended to perform a variety of e-sports games, such as the League of Legends.

All of the graphics card with GPU Radeon RX Polaris using 14nm FinFET manufacturing technology so that more power-efficient than previous product. Polaris also supports modern API such as Direct X 12 and Vulkan.

Further information on the brand-new graphics cards AMD is scheduled to be revealed at the launch on 29 June.
