Facebook introduced a feature to share photos and videos in application called Slideshow. This feature is only available to iOS users around the world.
With this new feature, Facebook wants to give a new experience to share photos on social networks.
As the name implies, Slideshow will display photographs in sequence. The photos shown are taken within one day (24 hours).
Applications will discover the photos or videos taken during that period, and made it as an image sequence (Slideshow) that can be shared on the timeline.
Facebook on iPhone users can make their own adjustments, such as the sequence of images, transition effects, and tag friends. Or Slideshow served up could go unpunished if the user does not want to post.
Currently, there are 10 themes that can be selected to create a slideshow, such as epic, playful, nostalgic, and birthday, each has its own style and musical accompaniment.
According to Facebook, as quoted KompasTekno from Mashable, Tuesday (28/06/2016), it will add more themes for the slideshow in the future.
This feature is actually not new. Facebook had previously been tested for a few selected users in some countries, and make them available on his photo sharing application, Moments.
Step up making this slideshow rated as their answer to a similar feature-owned competitors, such as Apple and Google.
Apple recently introduced Memories features in their latest mobile operating system, iOS Google Photos for 10. While this has Movies Assistant feature to create photo slideshow or video.
Not yet known when Facebook will bring Slideshow for the Android platform.
