Passwords are an important part of maintaining a personal account, computer system or other valuable documents to stay safe.
What if you forget the laptop password? Especially if many important documents are in it. The following is the solution to recover your laptop password as quoted by iSunshare page on Monday (12/17/2018).
Use Safe Mode
One way to recover your laptop's locked password is to activate safe mode. After the computer is on, press F8 when booting the computer. Then the Advanced Boot Options screen will appear. Then you select "Safe Mode" and press "Enter".
After that, the computer will turn back on with "Safe Mode" and select "Administrator". Then click "Start" and enter "Control Panel". Click "User Accounts" and "Manage Another Accounts".
Then, you can immediately change your computer account password. After entering the new password twice, click "change password" at the end. Restart your laptop, and the laptop can be used as usual.
for Administrator Account
After restarting the computer, you must go back to "Safe Mode" by pressing F8 when Windows boots. Then choose "Repair Your Computer".
After the display opens, click "Open Command Prompt", then type "net user administrator / active: yes" (without quotation). After that the message "the command active successfully" will appear.
Then type "net user administrator password" in the Command Prompt window. After that you can change your password as you like and close your Command Prompt window then restart your laptop.
