Instagram Fix Bugs in Some Users' Views

The photo-sharing social network owned by Facebook, Instagram, said it had corrected software design defects or bugs in the front view or feed for most users, as reported by Reuters on Friday (28/12). The bug caused a small test that was widely distributed.

As part of testing, some users have to tap and swipe their feed horizontally to see new uploads. Similar to the Stories feature.

The momentary change sparked anger among Instagram users on Twitter. Some compare it to the unpopular redesign of Snapchat.

"Instagram updates are very bad. It's worse than Snapchat updates," squeaked @samfloresxo.

The redesigned Snapchat application struggled to attract more users since it was launched last year. The newer version was criticized for being too confusing.

Responding to users' comments, Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri apologized for the confusion that occurred and said. "It should be a very small test that extends accidentally," he said.

"We quickly corrected this problem and the feed returned to normal," Instagram said
