Microsoft Smart Glasses Glide 2014

After Baidu reportedly interested in similar devices make Google Glass, now the software giant, Microsoft, allegedly also will release a smart glasses.

Originally, in November 2012, Microsoft patented design sunglasses (Kinect Glass) which is able to display images as text on the lens.

As reported by TechSpot, on Thursday last week, Topeka Capital Markets analyst, Brian White, said in an investor note, stating that Microsoft will probably release a smart eyewear products in 2014.

White is the new statement is speculation, but it does not mean it can not really happen. Perhaps Microsoft will announce smart glasses on konfernsi BUILD 2013 or E3 2013 next June.


White also predicted that Google Glass will be an important device that brings a new era of "wearable computing" (a gadget that can be worn on the body) into the world of consumer electronics.

Other major players are also rumored to be plunged following the trend wearable computing is Apple and Samsung. However, the two companies will allegedly take different steps to create a "smart watches".
