Most phones What Not Wanted

Smart phone what you want most? Instead of asking that question, research institutes Raymond James even ask instead, what most smartphones you do not want?

As quoted from AllThingsD, Raymond James conducted the survey on March 14 until March 26, 2013 in order to analyze the purchase intent of smartphones by consumers.

Among the three options proposed platform, was 71.4 percent of consumers stated that they "do not want" BlackBerry smartphone products.

Android came in second with 31.3 percent, followed by the iPhone with 19.7 percent of the vote.

These results reflect the duopoly between Google and Apple, two major players that dominate the smartphone market. Android and iPhone platforms owned by two giants control 90 percent of the worldwide smartphone market in the fourth quarter of last year, according to data from IDC.

As part of a survey done, Raymond James also asked respondents about what features would make them more inclined to one choice smartphone platform.

Nevertheless, it should be added that the survey sample size was relatively small, which only includes 250 respondents. Therefore, the findings of the survey may not reflect the real situation more broadly.
