Computer manufacturers Toshiba introduced KIRAbook Ultrabook laptop that is predicted to be a challenger Apple MacBook Pro with Retina display (Retina Display).
Laptop KIRAbook rely resolution 13.3-inch screen with 2560x1440 pixels or 221 pixels per inch density. While the MacBook display 227 pixels per inch density and Google Chromebook 239 pixels per inch.
KIRAbook carrying the Windows 8 operating system that allows the presence of two versions of the screen, touch and non-touch, and equipped Harman Kardon audio technology.
The laptop has a storage space of 256 giga bits and eight giga-bit RAM cards as well as the possibility of using an Intel Core i5 or Core i7.
KIRAbook which weighs 2.6 pounds (about 1.2 kg) also claimed to be lighter than the MacBook Air 13-inch.
The Next Web reported the latest Toshiba laptop that will be available in the U.S. market on May 12 with a price of about 1,599 thousand U.S. dollars or about Rp15, 5 million.
In addition to the MacBook, KIRAbook will also face the mainstay laptops from Microsoft partners like Dell XPS 13 and Samsung Series 9.
