Compete with Samsung and Apple, Huawei Processor Makes 8 Brain

Huawei follow Samsung and Apple to be the company that makes its own processor technology to mobile devices. The Chinese company is currently working on eight-core processor or octa-core.
Octa-core processor made by Huawei was named Kirin base 920 which utilizes the ARM architecture. The processor consists of four core (quad-core) Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A7 four core operating within big.LITTLE arrangement.
The second set of processors that do not seem to go together, but each took over duties on certain conditions. When in need of high performance, core Cortex-A15 will take on the role. While the Cortex-A7 core will work in conditions that do not require high performance. This is done in order to save more battery.
The combination of the two quad-core processor is the same as that applied to Samsung on octa-core Exynos processor.
Huawei embed graphics processor unit ARM Mali-T628 on Kirin 920 and two channels of DDR3 800MHz RAM memory.

This processor can be used on a mobile device with a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, supports 4G LTE cellular connection, and supports the use of the camera unit with up to 32MP sensors.
In a performance test (benchmark), Kirin 920 scored a good score of 37 469 points. The figure beat the printed score Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 801 to win 36,469 points. In fact, Kirin beat Samsung Exynos 5420 920 used the Galaxy Note 3. The results of the performance test octa-core processor made by Huawei Kirin 920 However, performance is still inferior to 920 Kirin Qualcomm Snapdragon series of 805 to win 37 780 points. Meanwhile, two processor made by Nvidia recorded still ranked top.
According to GSM Arena reports, performance test at 920 Kirin is produced from H300 Huawei devices that use a screen with a resolution of 1,080 pixels, 2GB of RAM, and runs Android 4.4.2 operating system (KitKat).
Although he was able to make its own processor, it does not mean Huawei removing dependence with Qualcomm or MediaTek. Because, during the Huawei uses processors from two manufacturers for smartphone products.
