Smartphone " Android - Windows " , Cool but a little hard

Microsoft and Google have requested that the vendor does not make a device with dual - boot OS , Android and Windows Phone . Perhaps many who deplore the attitude of both the IT giants . However , there is also that it supports .

Observers technology Peter Bright of Ars Technica says the site , a dual - OS device as it sounds sophisticated and cool . However , these features will only confuse users and make a lot of trouble .

As quoted from BGR , Bright commented that Google and Microsoft applications with one another not connected to each other , do not even recognize the existence of each individual in the system .

By having multiple operating systems , the number of applications used by the user to be doubled , with the assumption that they install the same application on two different platforms . It is actually even going to take the smartphone 's internal storage space , which is currently increasingly limited .

In addition , Bright also commented that there are no users who want to bother having to restart the device to switch operating systems . Not to mention if the user was wrong to use the operating system in the middle of doing something .

According to Bright , dual - OS smartphone more useful for the novice user than the application developer . Developers frequently have to try two applications made by them in different platforms .

Asus does have asked Google and Microsoft to discontinue production of the dual - OS. So also with Huawei , they fail to produce similar products , having previously announced it would launch a smartphone with Android OS and Windows in the second quarter of 2014.
