WhatsApp is testing new features that allow users to stop other users as a group admin. Named "Dismiss as Admin", the feature can only be used among group admins.
In one WhatsApp group, admins are usually more than one person. There are times when an unwanted admin arranges the course of a group. Probably because of his arbitrary attitude, or any other factor.
If it is so, the admin can be dismissed by another admin. Furthermore, the dismissed admin will act as a regular group member. He can no longer invite new people to become a member of the group, nor remove existing members.
Before the presence of this feature, the admin who wants to be laid off must be removed first from the group by another admin. Only then can he be invited back as a regular member.
The mechanism is practically complicated. Later, thanks to the feature "Dismiss as Admin", no longer need to come out of the group just because the position was about to be downgraded from the admin to regular members.
To access the "Dismiss as Admin" feature, an admin simply presses the name of the admin to be excluded in the group members list, as compiled by KompasTekno, Monday (15/1/2018), from WABetaInfo.
There are several options that can be selected, one of them "Dismiss as Admin". Press the selection and the admin in question will become a regular member.
Currently the new "Dismiss as Admin" feature is available in beta for Android. You can access it through this link.
For iOS version, reportedly WhatsApp is still in the stage of further development. Not yet clear when this feature will be released to the public as a whole. Let's wait.
