In addition, a number of devices such as drones, action cameras, and game consoles increasingly rely on MicroSD format as an external storage media. Idris admitted, this is what spur SanDisk to launch MicroSD with large capacity.
Two years ago, SanDisk also broke the record by launching MicroSD 200 GB. Memory cards that are just the size of a finger nail that can contain 400 thousand electronic books, 200 thousand photos, 100 thousand songs, 88 full HD quality movies, or 16 Bluray movies.
Idris explained, SanDisk Ultra 400 GB not only comes with large storage capacity. The memory card has a data transfer rate of up to 100 megabits per second. That is, consumers can move up to about 1200 images in one minute.
Idris admitted, all devices that support MicroSD XC technology capable of reading the memory card. The Sandisk Ultra 400 GB MicroSD card will go on sale in Indonesia in November 2017 and priced at Rp 4.4 million. SanDisk will also provide warranty for 10 years if there is damage.
