The popular messaging application WhatsApp is rumored to be releasing new features to make it easier for users to fulfill messaging needs.
Following are some of the latest WhatsApp features that will be present as quoted by the Times Now News page on Wednesday (1/23/2019).
1. WhatsApp Fingerprint Lock
For those who want to protect their WhatsApp chat from friends, they can immediately do so by simply locking the entire application.
WhatsApp for Android in version 2.19.3 will introduce an authentication feature, where users will be able to activate the Fingerprint feature. This feature will be available in the coming months for Android users, and later for iOS users.
2. WhatsApp New Audio Picker
WhatsApp will redesign the audio feature, where users will be able to play music before sending it to their contacts.
In addition, all audio files downloaded on your mobile will also be registered in the application. The WhatsApp beta version for Android 2.19.1 also allows you to send a maximum of 30 audio files at once.
3. 3D Touch Status
This feature will be launched for iPhone users, where they will be able to check status with the iPhone 3D Touch.
With this feature, you will not be seen online even if you see other people's status secretly. Currently, this feature is available for WhatsApp beta users on the iPhone.
4. Sticker Integration
The sticker integration feature will allow users to use third-party applications to share stickers on their WhatsApp chats.
The first keyboard to use this new feature is GBoard. With this, users will have many sticker options.
5. Private Reply
This feature allows you to reply to messages privately to someone during a group chat. WhatsApp is testing this feature on iOS devices.
