Xiaomi Will Adopt Snapdragon 855 Kitchen Runway

Xiaomi is rumored to be adopting Qualcomm's 5G chipset, Snapdragon 855. As quoted from Antaranews.com, the two devices are said to run Android 9.0 Pie.

Not only that, quoted from Phone Arena on Wednesday, the two devices also approached their commercial launch. The Geekbench Browser test results show that the optimization of software and hardware is almost complete, unlike the Galaxy S10 Lite.

Even so, the two Xiaomi Cepheus devices and the Skywalker Blackshark were unable to overtake the multi-core record that was allegedly made by a Sony Xperia XZ4 prototype last week.

The two names above are not the official names of the two phones. However, "Blackshark Skywalker" will naturally follow in the footsteps of Black Shark and Black Shark Helo that focus on gaming.

Meanwhile, the code name Cepheus is expected to refer to a 5G capable device from the Mi Mix 3 or Xiaomi Mi 9 variants.
