WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging applications. Because, more than 10 percent of the global population actively uses applications every month. However, some bugs or application problems cannot be avoided.
This time Okezone will provide a list of problems that usually occur and how to solve them, as reported by the Android Pit page, Wednesday (01/09/2019).
1. Cannot Install WhatsApp
To download the latest version of WhatsApp, you must have a smartphone running Android version 2.3.3 or higher. You can check the Android version of your mobile at this time in Settings> About Phone.
If you try to install the WhatsApp application from the WhatsApp website, you must activate the Unknown Source in your settings. Go to Settings> Applications and find your mobile browser.
2. Not Getting an Activation Code
If the installation runs smoothly, messages that are generated automatically with your activation code never appear. First make sure you enter your number correctly. Double-check that you selected the right country from the drop-down list. This is the country of origin of your telephone number, not necessarily the country where you live.
If you still haven't received the code, try asking for a voice call. This way your code will be read to you by the computer by telephone. Remember, you must have a SIM card to register with WhatsApp. In addition, you can only use one device per telephone number.
3. Can't Connect
WhatsApp connection problems are usually caused by Wi-Fi or your network data connection. If you cannot send messages, here are some solutions to install the latest version of the application from Play Store. Check your internet connection, Wi-Fi or 4G (in Settings> Wireless and Network), make sure the Task Killer application doesn't affect WhatsApp, clear the application cache (Settings> Applications> WhatsApp> Clean Cache), and finally the most extreme solution, uninstall application and reinstall.
4. WhatsApp Doesn't Recognize Your Contacts
There are several reasons why WhatsApp doesn't recognize your contacts, so here's a simple checklist to make sure. Make sure you have the correct contact number (used for WhatsApp), make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp, in your contact list, make sure all your contacts can be seen.
5. Cannot Play Video
To prevent this from happening, there are two things you can try. First, open the Play Store, press the menu button on the top left and then on my Apps & games and see if Google Photos is at the top of the page, waiting for updates.
If that doesn't help, another solution is to go to Settings> Applications / Application manager> Google+ and press uninstall update.
6. Cannot Download Videos or Photos on WhatsApp
Go to Settings> Use data and see if you only enable automatic media downloads when you use Wi-Fi. If true, you must be connected to a Wi-Fi network or enable automatic downloads on cellular data or while roaming.
