WhatsApp's most popular messaging application releases the Picture in Picture feature for WhatsApp web through an update to version 0.3.2041. With the Picture in Picture feature, WhatsApp web users can play videos shared by friends from Facebook, YouTube, and Streamable.
According to the WaBetaInfo report quoted Monday (1/28), in the previous version, 0.3.1846, WhatsApp released the Picture in Picture feature. Now through the updated version, WhatsApp has finally implemented the new capabilities on the web platform.
To try it, you must download version 0.3.2041 and share or receive messages containing video links from platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Streamable. If you press the link, you can preview the video or play it on WhatsApp with Picture in Picture mode.
In fact, users can switch to chat without having to close the Picture in Picture mode. If you cannot run this feature, you have not updated WhatsApp.
