Many negative things are spread in various social media, such as harassment, unpleasant words, controversial uploads to bullying. This seems to be very much considered by Instagram, which is a platform for sharing video moments, photos and even commenting on a post.
Reported by Ubergizmo, Wednesday (10/10/2018), Instagram is reportedly currently introducing learning features in its application to prevent negative comments from posting. This was previously done by Facebook which has a detection engine against negative things in the application.
Facebook acts in terms of handling inappropriate photos such as pornography and controversial uploads which will later be detected and cannot be uploaded.
The company in this case claims that the machine does not mean that it will automatically pick up posts like that, but rather will be proactive in marking so that human moderators can take faster, where such posts can be lowered much faster than before.
Besides trying to prevent bullying in photo posts, Instagram will also try to crack down on abuse as long as users broadcast on IGTV by adding an optional comment filter.
