Yahoo Together Replace Messenger

Yahoo apparently set up an instant messaging replacement for Yahoo Messenger which they closed this year because of the lack of interest. His successor is called Yahoo Together.

Quoted from the Phone Arena page, Friday (5/10), Yahoo Together claimed not to imitate chat applications that are already on the market, including Slack, however, at a glance the appearance of the Yahoo application interface is similar to Slack.

Yahoo Together provides a standard message sharing application function, however, it has not yet offered voice calls, it is believed that one day this platform will support this function.

Yahoo Together was developed by the same team that made Messenger, this application was present in a beta version called Yahoo Squirrel, available in Android and iOS versions.

The user must log in from a Yahoo account, but, still be able to invite people who do not have an account on the platform through unique code that must be entered by the person invited when registering.

However, Yahoo Together doesn't have a desktop or browser version, unlike its predecessor. But, the page believes this step needs to be appreciated because Yahoo is trying so that Together does not end up like Messenger.
