The 'Like' button on Twitter will be deleted, why

Twitter is reported to be eliminating the buttons like heart shaped cuitan. It aims to improve the "quality of debate" on the microblog platform.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated this at an event, revealing himself "not a keynote enthusiast" and would delete it.

Reported by Antara from Phone Arena, quoting the Telegraph, a heart-shaped button has been used since 2015, replacing the favorite star-shaped features that function the same, to like the tweet on Twitter.

The plan to delete this like button seems to have received a response that is not positive because liking activities are one of the functions on any social media.

Twitter has its own consideration of plans to remove the "like" button, which they consider to be the main cause of social media dependence on its users.

The "like" button is considered a symbol of recognition from others, social media users who are already dependent will delete uploads if they don't get a lot of "likes".

Twitter began this year to create a "bookmark" feature so that users can store their tweet privately, referred to as one of Twitter's ways to replace the "like" system in cyberspace.

A Twitter spokesman said they were trying various possibilities to create healthy activities on the platform.

There is no further information about when Twitter will replace this button.
