Users Can Know How Long To Spend Time On FB

Facebook has launched a feature that will make people know the duration of how long they spend on social media. This feature is named "Your Time On Facebook".

This new feature allows users to see exactly how long they spend time exploring the social media. This release is expected to make it easier for users to stop when they have spent a long time.

In this feature, later it will be able to display all data in the graph. Users can see the time they spend on Facebook throughout the week, as well as the average of how long they have spent in the application, quoted from the Independent, Wednesday (21/11).

The benefit of the new feature is not only to show usage time. There is an option to "manage your time" which is intended to make it easier to reduce the time spent on using Facebook.

When activating time settings, users will get daily reminders when they have exceeded the amount of time they want to spend while exploring Facebook. The reminder can last for how long and can be easily deleted when it appears on the screen.

The new tool works like the "Your Activity" page that was just launched on Instagram. Different companies, including Google on Android and Apple for Ios, have launched similar tools, using graphics in an effort to ensure users use services safely. The feature comes amid growing concern about the destruction of other social and technological activities carried out on the people who use it.
