WhatsApp Provides QR Code Features to Add Contacts

The WhatsApp messaging application will provide a feature to add contacts by simply scanning the QR code on your friend's WA account directly from the application. This method is easier and faster for users.

This feature is probably ready and will be available to Android and iOS users, observers and reviewers of the WhatsApp application, WaBetaInfo. This feature will replace the current options and will be on the same menu. After selecting the Add Contact button, a new session will be displayed.

The interface of this feature is very simple and intuitive. And WhatsApp also adds a smarter manual contact feature.

You can choose the country where the contact will be added to stay, WhatsApp will automatically display the country number code. So you just add the user's phone number. In fact, when you enter a contact's phone number, WhatsApp will display the full number if the number is already registered as a WhatsApp user.

Not only that, for iOS users, WhatsApp adds new features too. Namely sharing contacts easily using the Nametag feature like on Instagram and Snapcode and Snapchat.

When the QR code has been detected, WhatsApp will automatically fill in all fields of contact data and contacts will be added to your contact book.

This new QR code feature is also very useful for businesses, because sellers can post or publish QR codes on the internet in their online store. Other users will easily scan to contact or save the seller's number.
