Google's Acquisition of Zagat

Google Inc. did not stop doing business expansion. The search company number one in the world has officially acquired the Zagat which is a service company service provider's most popular restaurant recommendations now. Through this corporate action, Google's customers can find discounts and reviews of food in some restaurants.

"Clearly, Google users will easily find hotels, restaurants and nightclubs through the online map and search services on mobile devices. We try to provide more than just a hint of what is expected of consumers," said Marissa Mayer, VP of Local, Maps and Location Services Google.

The announcement comes after Google acquired last month Motorola worth 12.5 billion U.S. dollars. Unfortunately not say how much the value of this acquisition times. Several agreements have been approved by the regulator that allows Google to place its own Android-based smartphone in the market.

"In the visible natural that many who think Google will be hard to compete with Apple in designing products. At least, in the long run Google will successfully integrate the existing content," said an analyst at Stifel Nicolaus Jordan Rohan.

Zagat founded by Tim and Nina Zagat 32 years ago. The company provides a guide and restaurant recommendations in over 100 cities in the world. "We're happy, we reveal the company fell in the right hands. We believe Zagat will be growing," said the owner of Zagat.

Information only, in 2009 Google has been assessing its peers that is Yelp. It was agreed price reached 500 million U.S. dollars. Unfortunately, the agreement is executed and eventually fail.
